Tune: Crucifer
('Lift high the cross')
********
Chorus
From death to life, dawns resurrection morn
We His sons [and daughters], to eternal life new-born
Jesus, you whose head was thorn-scorned for me
Take my head today and do think through me - Chorus
You whose arms the cross-load did bare for me
Take my arms today and embrace through me - Chorus
You whose hands were outstretched, nail-scarred for me
Take my hands today and do serve through me - Chorus
You whose legs on cross-weight did stand for me
Take my legs today and do walk through me - Chorus
You whose feet were injured,nail-torn for me
Take my feet, and guide in you way through me - Chorus
You whose body, cut, bruised, and bled for me
Take my body today and do live through me - Chorus
You whose heart was spear-pained, spear-pierced for me
Take my heart today, and do love through me - Chorus
Your life laid down, given up all for me
Take my life, and fill with your Spirit free - Chorus

'Christ has no feet for ours; Christ has no hands but ours, etc...'
True in one sense, and yet could be arrogant in another sense.
Christ does not HAVE to need us. He can do everything perfectly well without any of us, but chooses to work through us thankfully.
May Our Spirit always be filled with Gods love.
Thanks Gold.
Thank you, Orchi!
A nice offering for this
Sunday morning!

Thanks Laura. The full hymn in the clip has 12 verses. Phew!
Yes, I did listen to the clip!😊
Thanks Laura. They've done 4 verses plus the chorus each time in the clip. If they did the whole thing (12 verses) it would be 3 times as long!
Wow!😲
Thanks STEVE ~ As usual a lovely HYMN & complementary poem ~ You lift all our hearts heavenwards ~ AMEN ~ yours BRIAN
