Franks Psychiatry 2 #11: wearing the colours

Frank Prem

Cooks must be bright white
Ward Assistants dull blue
Nursing Sisters in fawn
the Aides
are shining bright
in lime

it’s loam brown
for the Gardeners
and overall
Engineering is navy

girl Student Nurses are pale sky
while Male Nurses
like me
are drab
in nondescript grey

    I am sure that you were not nondescript in the way you dealt with the patients.

      No GF, we were worse.

      Frank,
      I agree with Gold’s comment!
      Just curious though...
      What color would you have preferred?

        Grey was fine, Laura. Just notable that there was, in effect, no colour attached to the males - just grey like schoolboys.

        What I recall well is that the uniforms were a means of identification and a form of segregation, at times.

          BTW...
          I enjoyed listening to you on SoundCloud!😊

          The Language of Color is very important FRED ~ see my Poem today ! I often find My Ladies wear significant colors !

          RED = Danger !
          ORANGE = Caution
          YELLOW = Happy Hour !
          GREEN = Alfresco Nature Girl
          BLUE = Melancholy
          INDIGO = Very Melancholy (Ward Sisters !)
          VIOLET = Holy ~ Handle with Prayer

          Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
