Snowglobe

Jo Middleton

Round and shiny
Polished to the cracks
Cold smiling child
Snowman by her side
Horizontal scarf
Bobble hat
Poised statue
Wet and plastic
Shake it up baby
Ignore her screaming
Oh how pretty
Fake snow falling
Ten seconds of fun
Back on the shelf
Packed up again
for the new year
Forget I'm gone
Disappear
