Day out with a muse

Daveyboyz

A day passed quickly full of rain,
we walked and talked and rode the train,
how pleasing to meet this girl once more,
blessed because I still adore.

Nothing to do but eat and drink,
that's all we need, to sit, to think.
I hope her loneliness retires
she needs some love to stoke her fires.

Time passed by and still we're learning
she smiles and I'm filled with yearning.
my world is good when she is near
but time goes fast it's once a year.

She still has that sparkle in her eye,
I know she'll find her perfect guy,
I'll be pleased yet sad so much,
I dearly hope we stay in touch.

We must always have some dealings,
I'll never lose these loving feelings.
and no one better could I meet
I love that girl from head to feet.

And a great write - also you should point out that the pictures are by your own hand and this one's a cracker.

Oh what a sweet romantic and well written confession of love - - hope the girl stays this time around and congrats on the wonderful drawing Davey.

Thanks Fay, though its always the same... she appears, reminds me that I love her as much as I always did and then she goes home, its been this way for years but I wouldn't change it. We had our time together and I feel lucky that we have stayed special friends.
