TREEES ~ BEAUTIFUL !

BRIAN & ANGELA

I HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE MY TREE

Except ~ TLC ~ Pruning

Watering ~ Feeding ~ Spraying

I do all that for my DOG  !

TREES are special ~ and give us more

Than they receive !  Walk in the Woods

WOOD for the table ~ FRUIT for the table

Burn us and we will repay you ~ with HEAT !

A TREE retains sincerity

Provides Food & Shelter for the Birds

Mammals ~ Insects and Microbes

Without TREES & Plants no life on EARTH !

TREES are primary producers

TREES are beautiful ~ please CONSERVE ~ AMEN !

Thanks for visiting ~ please comment ~ Love BRIAN

In the UK we only have 10% Tree coverage

Every tree is precious ~ for every tree we

remove we should plant TWO ! In the USA

Tree coverage is 50% and to see the ASPENS

in Colorado ~ in the Fall ~ is something you

will never forget ! My favourite Tree is the

ENGLISH OAK ~ What is yours ?  BRIAN XOX

A fine write Brian. Just waiting for some trees in a nearby avenue to sprout green leaves again. Do all avenues have trees these days? I remember they all did about 5 million years ago. lol.

    • BRIAN & ANGELA

THANKS STEVE ~ There are no Trees in modern streets ! When I was born (1983) there were still trees in the streets but now they have been removed to accommodate the Ubiquitous Car ! In the local Park we had a WOOD (to us it was a Forest !) it is now an Asphalt Practice Pitch ~ PROGRESS ! I had a walk in our local "Woods" yesterday ! The sprouting leaves are a sign of GOD's ~ Season by Season Blessings & Providence ~ AMEN ~ Yours BRIAN

In cases of new build the houses are packed in so tightly there is no room for trees. A friend was telling me that there is a covenant on his will that forbids the planting of trees and hedges in the front garden. Yes I mourn the decline of trees - great write Brian.

      • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks MICHAEL ~ One of the many Blessings of being able to visit the USA is the great abundance of Trees and Forests ~ AWESOME ! We do have quite a few trees in Essex ~ BUT ~ as with everywhere in the UK they are being felled faster than they are being replaced. My Parents garden has Fruit Trees and is surrounded by some large Trees ~ beautiful ! Yours BRIAN !

Trees are a true gift from heaven dear Brian - your verse outlines some of their benefits which humans can take for granted - yet no one can create anything as beautiful as an established and fully leafed tree. Thanks for this timely reminder - trees around here are starting to green once again.

        • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks FAY ~ I knew it was the sort of Nature Poem you would enjoy. Mere Man could never "make" a Tree ~ only GOD could create a Tree for our Blessing & Enjoyment. When ANGELA and I walk in our local "Woods" the greening of the deciduous Trees is a sure harbinger that Spring has arrived and that Summer is just around the corner ! My Poem today is on SEASONS ! Please check my Fusion on CARS & BYKES ~ Thanks BRIAN

This is very sad news Brian..... I always think of the UK as some sort of paradise... without trees and gardens is it England?

          • BRIAN & ANGELA

THANKS LORNA ~ The UK is a Paradise and our Gardens are the most beautiful in the World but in the USA you have 200 times more trees than we do so your range of Forests are the most beautiful in the World. The 100 miles view of Forest in NY State in the Fall is awesome and more mind bending than Old England in the Fall ! My Poem today is on Seasons and a picture of trees in the four Seasons ~ please check ~ also my FUSION on Cars & Bykes ! Click on DEVELOPING to see the FUSION ~ Yours as ever ~ BRIAN

To me, the live oaks we have here in Florida are one of my favorites - especially the old ones with all of their spanish moss. There's something wise, old and grande about them.

            • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks EUGENE ~ Love Florida especially the EVERGLADES in February ~ UNIQUE ! The Spanish Moss does embellish the Live Oaks and give a "Walk in the Woods" a Spooky feeling ! Thanks for your comment. My Poem today is on SEASONS with pictures of trees in S S A W ~ please check. I'm sure you had many classic Cars (loved the car parks in CUBA full of classic US Cars !) please check my fusion on Cars & Bykes and add a Poem if you wish ~ Yours BRIAN

Every year more and more lots of forests are cut down for something. Great write! We do need to stop cutting and doing more planting. Sister Christina

Thanks SISTER CHRIS ~ Yes indeed without the TREES etc ~ taking in CO2 and breathing out life giving O2 the Planet would die. We must conserve our Trees in the UK. In New York State in the Fall there is a \"100 miles view\" of forests in their Fall Colors ! for a BRIT it is AWESOME ~ value your trees ! Pleased you liked the poem ~ everyone loves trees ! My poem today (Wednesday) is about SEASONS and there is a lovely picture of TREES and how they change in the FOUR SEASONS ~ enjoy. Thanks for your poem on \"CARS\" ~ there are still some spaces left ~ Your Loving Brother ~ BRIAN @@@@@@@

                Mio Caro Amico BRIAN,
A great poem about trees! Thereā€™s a great childrenā€™s book you and Angela should read...if you havenā€™t already...
THE GIVING TREE by Shel Silverstein...
                Un Abbraccio e Baci...
                ~Laura~

                    Prego!

Read it and then save it to read it to your future children! Itā€™s never too early to start building that childrenā€™s library!šŸ˜‰
