Something whispered in her ear
Suddenly evokes a tear
and she hasn't cried in ages,
It's a mystery to say the least
as to what unleashed the beast
It's stumped the wisest sages.
But it's disappointment she dreads
Would rather do anything instead
Guilt just eats at her soul,
She's supposed to follow the crowd
And their voice is rather loud
Her anxiety is taking a toll.

A fine write C. Is 'she' you?
Thanks Steve, I appreciate the compliment!
Thanks SISTER for writing the Poem you wanted to write ~ FROM YOUR HEART ~ instead of something LESS melancholy ~ FROM YOUR HEAD. I can empathise because I tend to follow my HEAD and write an INFORMATIVE Poem on New Orleans ~ like I did today ! With ANGELA leaving for New Zealand (over 11,000 miles) in two weeks ~ If I wrote a melancholy Poem it would make you all cry ! God alone knows what I'll write in three weeks time when my ANGEL has FLOWN ! I understand the circumstances which evoked this poem and my PRAYERS are with you until the Time is Right ! Every Blessing ~ Abrazos de tus Hermanos especiales ~ ANGELA & BRIAN @@@@@@@
Sometimes you gotta write whats on your heart! Thanks for the read and the reply, I really appreciate it! You always know what to say! My prayers are with you and your "angel". Blessings and hugs to you and Angela--Christina

good poem
keep writing.
Thank you very much onepauly, I appreciate it!
Writing from the heart is so important, it shows emotions not thoughts. Your heart is strong and will overcome these anxious times.
Thank you so much, Andy, I appreciate your thoughts on this very much!
