I COME TO THE GARDEN ALONE

While the dew is still on the Roses

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

The Son of God discloses ...........

 

He speaks and the sound of His  voice

Is so sweet that the Birds hush their singing

And the melody that He brings to me

Within my Heart is ringing ..........

 

I'd stay in the Garden with Him

Though the night around me be falling

But he bids me go ~ His voice sweet & low

His voice to me is calling ..........  

 

AND He walks with Me ~ and He talks with ME

AND He tells Me I am His Own

AND the Joy we share as we tarry there

NO other has ever known !

    A fine garden well portrayed Brian. A garden to stay in, unless He bids us go from it - for a while?
    Someone ranted on the hymn of Jesus the vine and we the branches, on the line 'Keep us abiding in you'
    They said 'Grrr, WE have to keep ourselves in the vine, not just please ourselves and expect Him to keep us always'.
    And yet He does help us to abide - if you see what I mean?.
