First Love

Accidental Poet

First Love

In the back of my mind

You’re always there

Enticing eyes and magnetic smile

The color and style of you’re hair

Even after all these years

The sweetest memories of you remain

You’re face like a monument in my heart

Even you’re name

I can’t help but wonder

If I ever cross you’re mind

The letter in you’re school locker

I left there for you to find

Forgive me love

For losing my control

If anyone was to know my secret

It’s you, who owns my heart and soul

I remember the sound of you’re voice

Like an echo from the past

Once, I heard you call my name

I pray for eternity it will last

I guess everyone has a “first love” story

But how many still hold their ground

Its only to you Sharon

That I wish to be found

Did you ever imagine

Someone would compose words for you

Well my dear, that’s just the start

For you of all I would do

Ah ha, you've stumbled on one of my secret fantasies Laura. I know there's ways I could search for her, but part of me believes that if we were meant to be together it would already be so. But its a great fantasy just the same. Thanks for reading and your awesome comment.
