Tune: Wolvercote
('O Jesus I have promised')
*******
O Lord, come search my heart today
Pray find it in your way
Sure you have come, you dwell within
And cleanse my soul from sin
My heart by grace 'tis your abode
May good seed there be sowed
Whether thirty or sixty-fold
or hundred-fold be told
Anoint, inspire, refresh by grace
By faith we see your face
Though humanly no one can bear
Fullness of glory there
For 'tis your presence holy, true
You do our lives renew
O light a spark, brighten the glow
As more of you we know
And like a river of pure stream
Sparkling with your light's beam
To have assurance constantly
That there your dwelling be
By your Spirit within us here
Promoting godly fear
Made acceptable in your sight
Empowered by your might
Strong in the Lord and in His strength
Not trust[ing] ourselves no length
But depending on Him our Head
Christ risen from the dead
He worthy of all praise and worth
We sing with joy and mirth
And gospel message to proclaim
We have, we share Christ's name

Orchi,
Today is one of those days that I need to reread some of your postings...to my mom! She’s wants the reassurance that the Holy Spirit is within her. She loves listening to your writings and clips! Thank you for sharing!
~Laura~
Thanks Laura. Well, it's Pentecost now (Sunday)! He, the Holy Spirit, as a Person (not a 'force' nor a 'thing'), or can call him She too, I believe, is in every believer
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
