To Love Is Best

 

As a man of ample means

Can he be satisfied

With the things that he owns

In his luxurious life

 

Does his car make him better

Or make others less

Do the things that he buys

Bring him happiness

 

Does he have a family

Of loving ones that care

Or does he live his life alone

Without thought of anyone there

 

True love is very powerful

And could change his goals

With the things that love brings

The best things he could know

 

To live and love is the best

Though it’s not meant for all

Some can’t get past themselves

And their lives are very small
