Tune: Melcombe
('New every morning is the love')
Psalm 125
*********
They that trust in the LORD shall be
As mount Zion, it great and free
Which cannot be removed away
But abides firm ever alway
As the mountains are round about
So the LORD is without a doubt
Is round about his people there
E'er His eternal life they share
Rod of the wicked shall not rest
Upon the lot of righteous, lest
The righteous shall put forth their hand
To iniquity, evil bands
Do good, O LORD, unto those good
Who in you trust, surely they would
Do good to those upright in heart
Who follow you, take better part
As for such as do turn aside
Their crooked ways they cannot hide
The LORD shall lead them they shall be
With workers of iniquity
But peace shall be on Israel
And all His glories they shall tell
He shall protect them day and night
They shall be precious in His sight

Good write but it is a pity that the last stanza does not apply at the moment, and what about the Palestinians.
Thanks Gold. I don't know. Sometimes it may be 'general truths'.
In that conflict it's the Palestinians who have my sympathy - great work as always Orchi.
And mine Michael.
Thanks Michael.
