Black Water Lilies

(That's all I'm Telling You)

Black roses dying,

Dark beauty surrounding them,

Fading to ashes,

White water lilies,

Floating in the blinding sun,

Shadows in the depths,

Time walking past us,

The seconds ticking by us,

5,4,3,2,1,

sleep embracing me,

Cold lips Kissing me Goodnight,

The start of the end,

Black water lilies,

Walking past me 3,2,1,

I lie down and sleep.

Time just goes on and time is full of moments and each moment is precious, enjoy each one.

I must admit I haven't read into it - but then I don't look for hidden meanings. When I read poetry I enjoy it for the sheer love of the written word and the use of language. Well this is superbly written and each stanza stands on its own - a great 575 collection. It's so good I wonder why you only sign as 'G' - surely this is something to be proud of.

I am really proud of my work.
The only thing is, is that if give my name, it's as good as giving my gendar. Using just the first letter of my name I can remain anonymous in my gender. Since I struggle with gender identity and regard myself as gendar fluid. This is what I feel is best. If you have anymore questions then don't be afraid to ask anytime through comments, or we can become friends, and chat privatly.
Best wishes and thanks for telling me what you think about my work.

I fully understand and I'm sorry if my comment across wrongly - it wasn't intentional - keep writing

          Nah, it's fine.
          We're cool.
          Talk later
