Wanting To Go With You

Lorna

Who am I now you're disappearing

Who will I be when you are gone

Will I be a lone survivor

Or a song that has been sung

Searching for the far off portal

You'll hold open once you're gone

Will you call me from the ethers

Will your new voice drift to me

Will I have to spend long years while

Searching for you in my dreams

      Lorna,
A lot of questions you will continue to ask. He will always be with you and he will hold that portal open for as long as he has to! True Love Never Dies!

Great pic and song for your loving write!

What I can't figure out is........ why aren't very religious people who believe in the glory of the afterlife in more of a hurry to get there? I personally love the idea but I'm not religious at all (spiritual yes - religious no)....... ha ha....

I think we just want to continue the living experience that we understand as long as possible...especially if we’re living a healthy life!
As my mom says, “I’ve lived a good, long life. Whenever HE wants to take me, I’m ready!”

Love the write Lorna and dear old Joe to go with it. A friends son was married to his daughter - he's just the same in real life.

Love cannot die yet this set of poignant questions has to be asked when a loved one has to say a goodbye - - a heart-tug of a read dear Lorna.
