John 16 v.7-15

Jesus said, Nevertheless

I tell you the truth, though will bless

I do need to go away

But Comforter will come one day

The Holy Spirit shall come soon

You shall know Him, to Him attune

 

If I go away, I will

Send Him to you, keep promise still

When He comes he will reprove

The world, and will them to move move

Will show of sin and righteousness

And of judgement and holiness

 

Will show  them of sin for they

Believe not on me, go own way

Will show of righteousness, for

I go to my Father, no more

Shall you see me, for I shall go

Ascending to Him, shall be so

 

Will show of judgement, for he

The prince of the world (Satan), judged he be

He into all truth will guide

Spirit of truth in hearts reside

For He shall not of Himself speak

But my word speak to lowly, meek

 

For whatever He shall hear

Of me, He shall speak, so be here

And He will things to come show

Glorifies the Son, we will know

All that is the Father's, the Son

Has, the Spirit shows us each one

          Thanks Heart. I aim not to turn the poems into 'my version' of the Bible. Someone has done it with 'The Message' Version, and completely ruined things! Not that I'm against all modern things. But 'bravo' and 'whooppee' and similar things in a Bible seem crass.
