Let Us Go.
When sunset spreads itself
against the evening sky,
to desire's satisfied readiness
let us go, you and I.
Where moon meets sea's caress
above violet-dark night,
to delight's realm of happiness
let us go, you and I.
What joy we two shall possess
beneath stars' shy light,
therefore to find togetherness
let us go you and I.

Beautiful Fay....... they've found the way!
Yes they certainly did my dear Lorna. Thank you for the read and the comment.
Very beautiful write. Beneath skies shy light was my favorite.
The kind of love I tried to portray in the little verse was one lasting forever - -- thank you for reading and digesting the imagery dear friend. So pleased you enjoyed the piece .
I was 'going' to read this fine poem Fay - now I have!
And I am pleased you read it Orchi.
My dear Fay,
An exquisite write. I can envision the two of them walking off into the sunset! A hypnotic read for certain!
~Laura~
You have such a lovely imagination dear Laura and in this instance that is just how it was - - love is truly hypnotic when it is the real thing..
Thanks FAY ~ Love the POEM and the importance of TOGETHERNESS when you are in LOVE ~ I am just beginning to understand because I am missing ANGELA so so much when she is so so far away (11,500 miles) in NZ. However because she is with RUTH and she is so happy with her work etc ~ it does compensate for my loving sacrifice ~ so she could fulfil her dream Physiotherapy Exchange Placement ! Love the "togetherness" visual ~ perfect ! Yours as always ~ BRIAN The Dreamer !
Sweetly sexy and romantic. Love it Ms Fay. Hope you don't mind if I screen shot it to read whenever the mood strikes. Gotta save this one.
Wonderful write as ever Fay, may your journey be filled with joy and love.
