ALL MAORIS LOVE TO DANCE ~ VERY THERAPEUTIC
Because I'm A PHYSIOTHERAPIST
My treatments are "Hand On" so I have to ...
Understand my Clients ~ and have Rapport !
MAORIS are concerned about appearance
All the MEN and the Older LADIES ~ have
Elaborate TATTOOS ~ I like TATTOOS !
I'm can discuss their significance ~ which
Establishes a communication
And is an "ice breaker" with new clients !
Generally Maoris are quite fit ~ They
Walk a lot and love energetic DANCE
My MAORI clients have accepted ME !
They are very tactile ~ enjoy Massages
Rubbing noses ~ HONGI ~ is quite sensual !

There are over 600,000 MAORIS living in New Zealand which
is about 15% of the Population ! The are equal Citizens and
all signs (as in WALES UK) are bilingual. They are prominent
in all walks of life and have their own culture and language.
Maori Studies are encouraged in Schools and Universities.
They colonized NZ in the 13 C from the Polynesian Islands.
They are loving & gentle and make excellent employees in
the Caring Professions and are excellent Patients and they
love the exercises I proscribe and Therapeutic Massage !
They tell me that I have MAGICAL HANDS & FINGERS !
All New Zealanders are very friendly towards BRITS so Ruth
and I are really enjoying our stay ! BRIAN who has relations
in Auckland and has visited several times warned me I would
fall in LOVE with the People and the Country and won't want
to leave when my exchange Year is complete. Maybe I will be
able to persuade BRIAN to EMIGRATE in June 2019 ! Love and

Thanks STEVE ~ Pleased you liked it ! ANGELA sends me her "Message from NZ" in a email and requests me to put it into Poetic Form and post it for her on MPS ~ she is not a MEMBER but shares my Membership. After only two weeks she is under NZ's magical spell ~ I should have persuaded her to go to YORKSHIRE instead ~ plenty of SHEEP ! She has already joined the Maori Dance Group and is getting her POIS (E) ~ Yours BRIAN Watching MAORI DANCING always makes me nostalgic !
The very singing and dancing is hypnotic - - no wonder Angela has fallen in love with Maori gentleness - - - a lovely read Brian and the informative sonnet much appreciated.

A wonderful tribute to the Maori people of New Zealand.
When I visited New Zealand many years ago I had the good fortune to visit Rotorua a beautiful place and one of the great Maori cultural centres of New Zealand.

THANKS CHRIS ~ Remember Angela is in NZ with her flatmate RUTH (Radiographer) I am still in UK ~ booked for NZ in August ! We talk each day (phone) and she emailed me the Poem Outline and asked me to tweek it into a Sonnet (14 lines 6 6 2) ! NZ is a great place and S & R are loving it even though it's WINTER (50 ~ 55F) but no snow. They both work indoors so it is OK and as you know HOSPITALS are usually warm. Please add a POEM to my new FUSION on ANIMALS ~ Thanks BRIAN ~ Angela sends her love and hugs @@@@@@@
