Fay Slimm

REFLECTION.

Reflection.

Love only grows near introspection
and fades when a thought
becomes deformed.

When lies are perfected for deflection
ultimate ruin of truth
breeds disorder.

Nothing muddies love's complexion
more than a fake mask
of bent distortion.

Love demands but honest reflection
for its power to blossom
and trust adorn.

A very complex but perceptive reflection on love. You manage to convey so much with few words,

    Great finishing stanza!

Honesty is the best policy we've all heard before. Lies cause demise, I say.

Great work that you are so capable at.

Oh so true. If only writing such truths could bring them to our door.
