Corazon

willyweed

The coming of night pulls the blue sky west

O’er the far valley beyond the mountain’s crest

I left her down in Corazon without forgiveness in the night

She was searching for the grace of God she was looking for the light

I saw the devil dancing while wringing up his hands

Conjuring his demons and rolling out his plans

The coming day pushes the blue sky west

O’er the far valley beyond the mountain’s crest

I left her down in Corazon her heart was led astray

She never found forgiveness and the devil had his way

I saw an angel weeping, falling from the sky

She said that she was sorry, she could not learn to fly

The coming silence brings the blue sky  to rest

O’er the far valley beyond the mountain’s crest
