Feels

Red

There is a pain in my heart

This hole that lies inside there

Unfree and carefree

Sad and hurt

The day gets lonelier

My emotions are deadlier

Emotionless or numb

Can’t decide if its cos I am dumb

Or because I am in love

But the pain caused inside its hard to heal

What feels do I preach

The one I had died the day I saw you and her

It’s like a depression and addiction mixed

Don’t know which one killed me first

HI RED ~ Thanks for your first POEM ~ Well written but with a SAD content ! It is something we can all empathise with because "along the way" we have all "Loved & Lost" but for me there have been some positives (and lots of negatives) in each experience ! I am now engaged for the FIRST (and I hope the last !) TIME to Angela who is a PHYSIOTHERAPIST ~ I teach Science in a College. Thanks for caring & sharing ~ thinking of you and trusting you will find the right Partner soon ~ OK ~ Please check my Poems ~ Yours BRIAN The way MPS works is that we read & comment on each others poems ~ it is an interactive site ~ Yours B !

I thought I would read backwards for a change.. You have left a fine poem here, filled to overflowing with both sadness and regret.. if autobiographical, I hope things have since improved .. Neville
