GOD'S PROMISE

Frogspoetry

THE RAINBOW STANDS TRUE,

WITH THE COLORS OF RED YELLOW AND BLUE.

TO REMIND US THAT GOD WILL NEVER AGAIN DESTROY THE FLESH BY A FLOOD EVER AGAIN,

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU ARE OR WHERE YOU'VE BEEN.

YOU CAN TRUST THAT HIS WORDS ARE ALWAYS TRUE,

YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY BECAUSE,HE WILL FOREVER STAND BY YOU.

PUT YOUR TRUST INTO HIM UP ABOVE,

YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL HIS NEVERENDING LOVE.

JUST WATCH THE SKY,HE IS COMING IN THE CLOUDS AND NO EYE WILL MISS,

THE GLORIOUS ARRIVAL OF JESUS,

GODS GREATEST PROMISE.

  • Comment from author about the poem: is in the Bible GENESIS 9:11-17.The rainbow is Gods covenent ,promise,to us that he will never again destroy the flesh by a flood. And in Revelation 1:7-8 the bible says that He is coming in the clouds,on a white horse, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God.Certain things must happen before He returns. The bible is filled with prophecies and signs leading to Jesus's return.

THANKS SISTER ~ For a great poem on two great Spiritual Truths ~ GOD'S promise in the Rainbow and the Second Coming of Christ ~ AMEN When you joined you said you wanted to WITNESS and you sure do in a very positive way ! Love your dialogue with UNSUB ~ it filled me with Spiritual Joy ! Spiritual Truths & Rainbows always stir my MUSE ! Some of my older Christian Friends (60+) don't want to die (even though they long for Heaven) because the want to still be alive when Christ returns to the Air for the Church (The Rapture) !

When He shall come resplendent in His Glory
To take me home ~ what joy will fill my Soul !

AMEN ~ Thanks for sharing ~ Hermanos BRIAN y ANGEL I'm an Environmental Scientist ~ and someimes @ Conferences when they talk about the perilous State Planet Earth will be in in 2100 (I could still be alive @ 117 !) I remind them that GOD may not permit HIS LIVING PLANET to last that LONG ~ It does create discussion because the Christian View is seen as a SPIRITUAL ALTERNATIVE view of the Future of Planet Earth and NOT as the accepted Mechanistic Scientific View ! Every Blessing for the future ~ B & A

Ohh, you\'re living until you\'re 117 anyway! heehee. I'm gonna spoil that Rapture (can I?) by singing! I'm a spoilsport! lol.

A fine and true write Frogs. I got a terrible promise - I promise people I will sing every day. They cannot bear it. Oh no! lol.

      • orchidee

If I can chip in. they were in the 'last days' even 2,000 years ago, and we still are. It will happen. We look up spiritually, even physically, though not in a 'head in the clouds' sort of way!

      • Frogspoetry

Thank you,I know we have. The Bible plainly says what will happen.I will be glad to be destined to go where your are also, singing or not.
