NEW WORDS ! You could increase your vocabulary by

Thanks MICHAEL for your encouragement ! I like a challenge and it this case it was to use the words as published in the RD an devise one line definitions that scanned and fitted into an abab ~ cdcd etc Rhyme Pattern. We were always taught at school to build up vocabulary books in English ~ Latin ~ French ~ Spanish ~ German etc ~ I am a Bibliophile and I love LIBRARIES. Texting has dulled the art of penmanship ~ the rot started with DRINKA PINTA MILKA DAY etc and is now endemic. All one can do on MPS is set an example. There are those on MPS who send me their drafts to "Polish" before the "Publish" and I am grateful for that. I know I'm not perfect ~ but at least i try ! Your BRIAN ~ Please add a luxury item to my latest FUSION ~ B !

Thanks HEART ~ Pleased you liked it ! I was taught and still teach in my Seniors Poetry Class ~ That the essence of a good Poem are Words and the way they are deployed throughout the Poem ! It stands to reason that RHYME demands an infinite vocabulary ~ but also because words have syllables so does RHYTHM ! As for REASON it is often killed or muted because of the wrong choice of WORDS "He who would be a Poet must first and foremost be a WORDSMITH !" Thanks for your comment ~ Yours BRIAN !
