I am just a piece of piano
Keys
The blacks and whites
Connect together
And make a wonderful
Song
Clefs on the paper of
The piano sheet
Makes the words
Alive with feelings
Telling it’s stories of
Chronicles
Sonnets
In poems
With music it
Turns into
A bird’s singing
A singer’s voice
Connected to people’s hearts
I am white
I can be black
Or just a
Pointless existence
Without people’s
Touch
Silence is the
Only thing I have
When I stood alone

Thanks SIENA ~ For posting a very beautiful & meaningful poem to lift all our Spirits in the Middle of a busy week ! The individual NOTES of a PIANO of themselves just produce on monotonous & plaintive note when stuck ~ BUT ~ taken together they produce a SYMPHONY ~ Amen In Life and Love the whole is ALWAYS better than the "Sum of the Parts" ! I work in a College and in each Course I put in my unit (Science or Maths etc) and my colleagues put in theirs and each Student receives a Holistic Education and is qualified to meet the World ~ individually we are just B & W notes but together we are a Concerto ! The same is true of Angela in her work as a PHYSIOTHERAPIST (which is highlighted in her poem today) she is just an important single (but essential) note in the National Health Service KEYBOARD ! Love your Poem it touches everything I will do today ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ MORE PLEASE ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)

Very good write, the piano in our house rings out with wonderful sounds but it sounds so empty when left alone.
