Tune: Ravenshaw
('Lord they word abideth')
********
Passing by a river
Shines sun's golden sliver
Wildlife living peacefully
Nature with God one be
Ducks, swans, insects abide
By riverside reside
Haven calm, unspoilt see
From defilement all free
Help us Lord, creation
To tend, every nation
For it be your world, we live
In it by grace you give
In eternal city
There River of Life be
Pleasures perfect, purified
Shall to none be denied

lovely writing, my friend. Love the flow.
Thanks Kevin.
Very welcome.
A great work Orchi.
Thanks Michael. Isaiah's back soon, in me series! Did ya know him, about 700BC? Reckon Goldfinch and I did.
It was a beauty. Great picture by words.
Thanks Heart. I did an actual walk. There is a nature reserve set back from the river. But a possible plan for a bus lane to be built next to part of the river. Oh no, cries of sabotage are going up! Nothing decided yet. Hope they protest loud enough.
Attree us Gods way of showing us all is well.
Thanks Gold.
