why?

E-Poems

Why don’t we open our eyes more?

There’s a world at our feet that we fail to meet, daily.

Why don’t we show our love more?

Time runs with quick paste, death wins the race, eventually.

Why don’t we smile more?

If our face rearranged lives could be saved, weekly.

Why do we fear so much?

Paranoid for the outcome, we’re loosing life and fun. Repeatedly.

Why do we tolerate?

Toxic behaviour, we grant ourselves no favours, weakness.

Why do we hesitate?

To speak what we feel, explore emotions that are real, in the present.

Why don’t we touch more?

Then our phones in hands and cheap beer cans. Nightly.

Why don’t we think more?

About sharing and compassion instead of the new trends in fashion. Ignorant.

Why don’t we appreciate?

Our family and friends more then emojis to send, irrelevant.

Why don’t we inhale more?

Then money and expense, our greed makes no sense. Over privileged.

Why don’t we hear more?

Then our self focused mind, lack of love for man kind. unsympathetic.

I wish people would open their eyes more.

People should open their eyes more.

              This was so awesome!
It was like I was at your concert
As if my soul was being heard
We will transform through our spirit and words.

O and I've just finished something that I feel is in great synchronisation, I was already itching with anticipation but I guess I should thank you and the site for helping with my patience.
