Antagonist vs Antonyms

Poetic Dan

"you really think you're gods greatest gift."
"Well if I am and that's true, then so are you"

"You also walk around like you own this whole world!"
"This is the truth but my point is, respectfully so do you."

"Why does it matter that everyone must know what you think"?
"if we all spoke our real inner truth we'd stop assuming."

"So you can be the happiest of souls and the saddest too, come on! you must know there's something wrong with you"?
"For some part of my life I thought so as well, but we can only appreciate the summer heat after a winters spell."

"Now you are thinking you have all the answers, as if you're some kind of poet or spiritual guru master"?
"No, I wish for no categories to be placed, anything you see or hear are a reflection of my time and space."

"Because you had a rough childhood you want to play a victim card, always going back to the emotional scars"
"The root of all my issues started somewhere, if I didn't acknowledge them they would create hate and despair- I have been there."

"Right! From everything you're expressing , you're obviously stating you know the purpose to life."
"None of us know what this really is all about must be why we called it...

Really wise answers to these jibes and pokes by those who as yet have no idea of just who we all are....... a clever way of avoiding bad confrontation and am putting this needed reminder among my favourites. Thanks a load Dan

That load is returned ten fold, if not for this and all the encouragement I'd never of found this side of me.
        Always appreciate your positivity

Thanks DAN for giving us some great FOOD for THOUGHT on a Tuesday Morning. Thanks GOD that MODERN (21st C) POETRY is not a slave to Spelling ~ Grammar ~ Rhyme ~ Rhythm or even Reason ~ we all have a carte blanche to write as the MUSE moves and damn OFSTED and the Critics ! Love your POEM ~ Perfect as presented but there is a PARADOX. I teach my Students that SELF RESPECT & SELF WORTH are very important traits in self development and life. All my students are VOCATIONAL ~ Caterers ~ Hair & Beauty ~ Pre-Nursing ~ Lab Technicians ~ Builders ~ Engineers etc. They all need SELF RESPECT in their Trades. The GOOD BOOK teaches "Don't let a Man or Woman consider themselves better than they are !" So it is all about the equilibrium between SELF RESPECT and RESPECT for OTHERS. Thanks for caring & sharing ~ Yours BRIAN

I'm learning to heal in many ways
Writing is where it started and where it will end.
Thank you again for joining my journey

Good write. We are what we are and that comes to us through our experiences in life and experience cannot be taught.
