That rambles in the Road alone,
And doesn't care about Careers
And Exigencies never fears—
Whose Coat of elemental Brown
A passing Universe put on,
And independent as the Sun
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute Decree
In casual simplicity—

    Wow, Emily Dickinson really makes you see the world from a different angle! I love how she describes the stone not caring about "Careers" and being independant. Makes me think more about simplicity in life.

      Theres something to be said about the simplicity. Loving the part where the stone's coat is 'put on' by 'a passing universe'!
