WELCOME FRIEND ~ Thanks for you first poem ~ which I love ! It explores the AGONY and ECSTASY of love but leaves us on Love\'s High Ground. Most of us have experienced the HI\'s & LO\'s of Love ~ so we can emphasise. I have had one GF who sucked me dry physically and emotionally and left me withered and empty ~ but my current GF takes me into a Seventh Heaven of LOVE. My MUM taught me to respect Ladies and treat them very very gently so I can identify with your second verse and your Perfect Man ! The tragedy is your first experience turned you against us ~ which is sad ~ because (as you have now discovered) we can be lovely. The sad thing is most relationships start off well but some become beastly after just a few weeks. I am pleased you have now found TRUE LOVE ! Thanks for caring ~ Yours BRIAN. Loved your Song !
