The structure of the poem (5 quatrains and a doublet) it fine and it has flow and rhythm but very sparse rhyme ~ modern poems of course do not have to rhyme or scan ! The subject and content is quite intriguing. Your comment suggests the message of your elegant poem is self discovery ~ being different but still needing a \"normal\" relationship of being loved and comforted. In essence we can empathise with that because that is what most of us also want ~ To be DIFFERENT but to be loved and treated normally !
