Excellent Ian.

We fail to realise that the characteristics that we possess that cause us to be bullied is what makes us special and unique in the long term.

However, the journey to this self realisation for any individual is indeed a painful one at times.

A fine write Ian. I had a horrid year, first year at secondary school/high school? (aged 11-12). A nasty jolt from my first school, where were happy days.
Things like \'initiation\' - pushing new school-children into the holly bush, etc.

Good write, all should be accepted in our world but some people just seem to get pleasure from there hatefulness.

Being a train conductor seems like such an easy job. The pictures make it seem as though you just sit there while the train does all the work. I am sure is much more complicated than that.

Really important message in your writing. If only we could convey this message to the kids who do the harming. In my childhood i received a lot of bullying harm which recent counselling has shown stayed with me into my senior years affecting my personal relationships. If only we could stamp this out. Your writing really touched me today.

This reminds me of my little cousin who has autism and was bullied. It\'s so sad how kids treat other kids, but poems like yours help raise awareness. Thank you so much for this, it is an important message.

This tells the other side. My uncle\'s brakes went out on his motorcycle and he crashed into a train. I also had a friend that that\'s how he committed suicide, he stepped in front of a passing train. Both were shocking and horrendous. But people rarely talk about the effect it must have on train conductors and engineers. Lots of feeling here, thank you for posting.

You created a very honest piece of poetry. You made it very personal, using creative methods of figurative language. Great job on your first poem here. It could almost just use a good beat and be turned into a rap.
