Great descriptive writing here Cath. It\'s a shame you felt so down when you wrote this. I often write when feeling down and/or intoxicated.

Take care - Syd

The feeling that you are unable to help your self can be so overwhelming.
This is a very powerful write.

I really related to this - especially the the part about running out of ink and having to capture the feeling before you forget it. I\'m very forgetful too

It reads like a short, one paragraph essay to me, which I also enjoyed because I love reading like that.

Hi CathBee, I\'m not very good at leaving reveiws but I really enjoyed this piece.
Especially the ending.

\"and if no one hears me, then do I even exist?\"

Good point.

Take care - Syd

Great write. I have the same compulsion to write (although I\'m old school. I rarely put my scribblings into any kind of electronic device until joining MPS. I\'m a pen and paper and sometimes I still feel the need for a pencil. Very basic! :-) . ) Great post.

Wow, did you take a trip through my subconscious mind?? I have these same \'friends\'. Although they do tend to sabotage any sleep I try to get. Great write. Welcome to MPS!

Good write but I’d like to mention that the right side of the poem is cut off from my screen. It could be possible that my phone is the cause but I haven’t seen this before.

This is so raw.

I really like how the rhythm sways pleasantly, and the words rhyme in a way I can lean on when I read it. The dark meaning is complemented by that, I think. I like it the same way I like grunge music. Do you know \"Lithium\" by Nirvana?

\"I\'m so happy
\'cause today I found my friends
they\'re in my head.\"

First thing I thought of reading your poem, and I love that song. Your poem had a real effect on me. Thank you for sharing

I like the contrast of then and now.
I think this is really good and you should keep it up.
