Wow, Sup! Your poem is filled with raw emotion, but definitely forces the reader to take notice and to wonder who is the recipient of your wrath?
Great job and keep writing. :)

Death penalty

Thank you! You raise several good points which I didn’t think about, I think the cons outweigh the cons although I tried to come across as neutral.

Death penalty
Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:
Sup, your poetic words present us with a dilemma. You\'ve given us the food for thought, but we must be the ones to digest it and offer an opinion. That\'s hard for some of us.
I was for the death penalty decades ago, then after having taken a course in Criminology, visiting a Federal prison in New York and speaking with inmates, I changed my mind. Some prisoners were chronic liars, some were childlike, some were hardened criminals, but there were also some who, in fact, framed.
DNA is not always conclusive. So, what happens if an innocent person is killed in error? I know I couldn\'t live with that weight on my heart.
And from a religious perspective we must honor the words of the Almighty: \"Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord.\"
Having said that I would probably not advocate for capital punishment, but neither do I believe hardened criminals should lead a life of Riley either.
Great poem! :)

Memories that make you die inside.

Sup, what that pupil did to you was absolutely awful. I\'m surprised you were able to get through it.
You\'ve expressed the scene so beautifully with words. I liked this poem. :)
I deleted my post on the other poem, since I misunderstood your point.

A fine write Sup. Yes, it would not be faith if we could see everything visibly. doh! Also, a Bible verse asks: \'Who hopes for what they see? But if we hope for what we do not see, we hope for it with patience (and in faith)\'.
Some atheists won\'t have it though. They will argue black is white.

Brilliant! I feel paranoia only comes when you feel judged. Weed is a medicine and should be seen as such.

Brilliantly done with a powerful eneding
I could feel the raw emotions in this
I\'ve honestly grown so much being here
More than I ever knew.
Thank you for expressing your self
And coming here to share
I hope many follow after you

I hope you find relief and fine tune your perfect gift
You may not see it as this but in time you\'ll see you fit
Much love and respect

Great first poem! Strong vocabulary, and pretty consistent. I found the topic interesting and relatable, considering I also have strong social anxiety. Glad to have you here at MPS, I hope you enjoy it here. ^^
