ANGELA HERE - GOOD EVENING FLAMINGO ~ Thanks for Sharing. Relatonships take time to come to fruition - but sadly - sometimes just fade away & die ! I was 28 when I met Brian (33) four years ago. Prior to that I had had some hopeful relationships. I am half-Spanish and in a secure Job (PHYSIO) and lively company ! Some of my Boyfriends had Flats but I never moved in ! I came close but Younger men (20 to 30) are wary of committment & marriage. So some of your Poem resonates with my experience. When I met Brian and our Love developed - we got engaged (first time for both of us) and we got married four months ago during LOCKDOWN ~ AMEN ! I had saved my best for the best ENDING ~ AMEN

Blessings for the FUTURE

This is not just another poem on a familiar theme - it has its own character and so well expressed. An emotive write and a great piece of work.

Whats dirty about it. Using our bodies to do the pleasureable stuff bits of us are made for is just loving life itself.

It is so hard when strife occurs at a young age but you have moved on and that strife has given you a strength of character that will take you forward in your life.

It is hard to see anything from some one else\'s point of view, particularly when you are down and still being kicked... and at 16 it is almost impossible to absorb all the blows without some very serious bruising.....

A dramatic write without doubt. At age sixteen a crisis lands all the harder for not yet being fully adult we have little ability to cope.
Happenings in those formative years stay with us and colour our lives. But there are many years ahead for you (I sneaked a peek at your profile) and with such a talent for writing I hope to see plenty more of your \'stuff\'.

I read these words and they have such a ring of truth to them.. am I right in suspecting you might experience a temporary sense of tension relief/release once you have self harmed... you may think me nosey but have you found any other self help interventions that ease the frustration, hurt and or tension you feel... I sincerely hope that writing is a helpful intervention... Anyway, thanks for posting my friend....

ANGELA HERE - Good Evening Flamingo welcome to MPS. It is a proactive site and operates by reading & commenting on each others Poems. There are some very pood Poets & Poems. I have been married to BRIAN for six weeks and prior to that I was living with My Parents. My Papa is Spanish & My Mama English - I was raised in England (London). Brian is English but fluent in Spanish enough to convince Papa that He would make a good Esposo for Me. Im 32 and My Mama - who lives close - is my best Friend and we are very close. Because I was part of her houeshold I see her regularly but we meet & eat in the Garden ! I am a Physiotherapist but work with Orthopedic Patients rather than with COVID 19 Patients. Thanks for your first Poem which is a reminder to really love our Mamas for as long as we have them. Please check our Site - Thanks

The irreplaceable love for mum cries sad tears from your words today.
Mum doesn\'t want her daughter to be weak and reliant. Be strong and proud of her love, closeness, caring, empathy and giving. In all that she has shown you she will never truly leave your mind. As much as she gave life to you, you gave life to her existence and your turn will come to be mum and do the mum thing.
You will always have mum memory. Be proud to be the daughter of a woman who engendered so much love .. take it with you into the world.

A big welcome to you. This place is at it\'s best when you and me and all of us interact by reading each others posts and leaving comments such as mine today. Please feel free to have a look at something of mine and rip it to pieces or whatever.
