Apathetic wind
L. B. Mek said:

firstly, what a great title!
and such brevity in your imagery:
\'The torned wire of the harp\'
(a great poem!
despair, worded so transparently and bravely pure
thanks for sharing, dear Poet)

Needless time
L. B. Mek said:

\'that brook
paves its own path in the mud
in the hope, a river awaits
it can call home\'
(deceptive brevity, a good write
thanks for sharing, dear Poet)

Thoughts
L. B. Mek said:

daydreams
or the capacity, to daydream
is an essential element
of our overall, health..
the later we find this out
the sadder..
(an intriguing read,
thanks for sharing, dear poet)

Question
L. B. Mek said:

your questions, may explain
why most of us
arrive
wailing and screaming
lol
yes, indeed dear poet
let us ponder and muse
illuminate and disseminate
to all, without prejudice
let us
philosophise : life!
beginning
with ourselves..
I personally, choose Poesy
many
choose other muses
and avenues
all
equal, under Artistry\'s guise..

Earthly affair
L. B. Mek said:

\'earthly possessions
deriving our shallow, earthly wisdoms
merely
skin deep, devoid of scarlet depth
of meaning
and thus, unattached to our
beating heart
where all our cherished in life
is vaulted, tight...\'
(insightful commentary
indeed
the more we covet those earthly possessions
the more we distance ourselves from life\'s, true wonder
a great write!
thanks for sharing, dear Poet)

Governance
L. B. Mek said:

(you\'ve served up
another intriguing read, dear Poet)
I doubt such a ruler ever existed
or if so
if she or he
governed over a sizeable bit of land
since
the cyclical bane of governance, exists
in the fact that, the larger
your domain of influence
the more detached you are
from the living conditions
of the people your choices, influence!
as within your castle walls
all is well
but for Betrayal politics
and art Olympics...

The boy sitting on the window
L. B. Mek said:

(forgive me dear Poet
I couldn\'t help but continue-on
from my reply to your last poem
and incorporate, the choice words
you shared today..
I so admire the tone and feel of this poem, what a beautiful read
thank you!)
\'a whole lifetime can be spent
lost, to that cocoon
of a windowsill frame;
windows open, in fingertip
touch
with nature and the world;
as raindrops
drip, form outreaching fingers
and yet
everything else, remains dry
and untouched
by that everyday cruelty
we\'ve labelled, society..
many a child, survives
by the nurturing virtue
of windows, alone...
so, so many
even those dreaming children
with grey hairs
as their life\'s, survival rewards!

Rainy day
L. B. Mek said:

Brilliant!
(every time it rains, at night
I grab something warm to drink
run to the upstairs
open our window
look out to our street light
and watch the dancing lights
of raindrops, illuminated
falling at an angle
and bombarding
our manmade creations, knowing
when we all pass, eventually
this will be what devastates
all our bricked and pavemented
achievements
into
Nature\'s, sands of our finite
inevitability
and in that solemn
realisation, exists
some form of acceptance
that affords me a gifted moment
of cherished, serenity
and smiling, I sip
and try to ignore
everyone talking
doing, working, living
all around me..
this stolen moment, I gift myself
guiltless
for my very existence, insures
I deserve it!)
*also works with snowfalls*
lol

L. B. Mek said:

\'it\'s all so bleak
and, doom n gloom
I mean at this rate of demise
why even , labour to breathe?
that\'s all defeatist, easy
and trending # depression, popular
well, till
a kitten or a puppy, clumsily
trips and slides their way to your feet
following you, all day
and later, all
of their loyal lives
just because you were there
when they realised, their world...
or maybe walking
for an hour, with a towel
on your shoulder
waiting
for that gurgled, burp
of your friends
precious, bundle of joy..
or maybe..
maybe...
may
it be, that perhaps
beyond
the abundant, dreary
there is yet
Beauty, enough
in existence
for us to cherish and utilise
and anchor, worth
and meaning
to our chaotic, lives...\'

Cricket
L. B. Mek said:

loved cricket, practise
(although, not so much the bruises
I don\'t think people, realise
the speeds those dense balls
come flying at you)
lol
but I couldn\'t play a whole game
without getting distracted
still, I laud the skill of those
great\'s..
artist\'s, like
Sachin, Gayle and Afridi
were amazing
but my favourite was always Lara
made it look, so naturally beautiful
and then all rounder geniuses like Flintoff
were just wondrous to be hold on their day..
admittedly
I\'m not its biggest fan,
(its my beloved football, that pulses in my heart)
but
I have a lot of respect for this
most elegant of sports..
thanks for sharing your ode, dear poet
a lovely, informative read

L. B. Mek said:

choices, made
imbued with mistakes
resultant
consequence, cursed at..
new day
and it all restarts
until
one day
its all, flatlined
plans..
\'I could not match the calculations;
Now and then
when do the time
has gone away
did not think.\'

thanks for sharing, dear poet)

On the shore of river
L. B. Mek said:

a great message, dear poet
indeed, we be mere pebbles
in life\'s tumultuous, rivers
still
whilst fate\'s waves may
push us around
and impose direction, upon us
we can still, curate
our lives path..

Each year
L. B. Mek said:

did you know, scientist\'s
have deduced
(so they\'ve pilfered Nature for assumed, knowledge)
that a day was longer, thousands of years ago
and it will be shorter, thousands of years in the future
as it\'s shrinking, year by global warming - year..
so then, the question becomes
will humanity be around
when 365 becomes 364?
(wonderfully enticing poetic thought\'s
to read and contemplate, thanks for sharing)
