The cost of a broken heart is an instalment plan of increasing interest that accrues faster than the principle paid. A very nice write that ends with that great line.

This poem says it all, and personifies all the things we admire about our kin, things we want to take with us, about them, everywhere we go. Well written!

My comments on the poem \"Body” by anabasova
You say the body never betrays you. It is the opposite, I am afraid. It has been said “Body language cannot lie.” Whatever our mind wants to put forward can be blocked by our body. Body language is what is used to detect accurately what goes on in the person’s mind. The contradiction between the words and the body language appear clearly. The mind has plenty of things to hide ; it puts forth the messages that are in our favour and hides those that will do us harm. The body does not care : it will just say plainly what is going on in the mind. So, the body stomps the mind. We all think that the mind controls the body : in reality, the body has power that overrides the mind. The way you fidget, you wring your hands, you shift from the right foot to the left, you glance across, you avoid eye contact, you shake, etc., all this betrays your deep thinking, the real you at that moment….
“Truth is always bitter.”
From the Indian television serial : “Kyunki saas bi khabi bahu thi” (“For the mother-in-law was once a daughter-in-law”). (Full acknowledgements are made to the rights-holders)
But then, everybody has their own “truth.”

My comments on the poem \"Find me” by Anabasova
You are going through mental turmoil. Thoughts and emotions are working against you, but you resolve to fight back. You are right in fighting back. You rightly say that a blank mind is more scary than pains. With a blank mind you lose anchor points that help you move along, in spite of problems coming your way. However, you remain lucid because you know you will navigate through all this. The tunnel must end at some point : then there will be light there. “Hope springs eternal in the human breast.” John Keats (1795-1821).
Best wishes, friend. May things work out well for you soon. Soman Ragavan. 4 June, 2023. //

What a beautiful expression of mutual understanding and respect! It\'s important to set personal boundaries and know where you stand, but it\'s equally important to have someone who understands and respects those boundaries

really good concept...i want to see this as a longer poem! i can definitely envision the type of relationship you are trying to portray, and this would be so great if you took this idea and turned it into an entire narrative using figurative language. (which you have really good command over!)
by the way, i have a poem w a similar concept up right now, its called \"the confectionary of a lover\". i\'d love if you took a second to read it and lmk what you think :)
