What’s the matter?
L. B. Mek said:

(forgive me, I read your words
and was inspired to poetically reply
I meant no disrespect, in doing so
just got carried away, is all)
\'let\'s delve deeper:
within Time, we Exist
that Matters
for when
we cease, to Exist
so does the Time
we gave Life, to
What\'s history, without us
witnessing it
What does it matter, how much future
others still have
if we\'re denied a role, as part of it..
In the now, we squander
is it Time or matter, we surrender
is it us that Matter
or does matter\'s, Effect on us
Define our worth..
Milky ways, as chocolate bars
bite-sized science
as our, Factoids of tangible
in a world
beyond, our imagination\'s
surreal..
\'What’s the matter?
In a matter of time
It won’t matter,

So why is this matter so maddening in my mind?\'..
because, we\'re pulling on fate\'s
galloping reins
and all we get in reply, is a distant
laughter
in that mirror, that\'s a callous reflective
but refuses to act as a revealing reflector
in our lives...\'

Boo!
L. B. Mek said:

\'that lingering venomous remnant
monstrosity, of a once
warped love, tainting
potential
in all the new, entering our lives..\'
(really like
the technical aspects to your poem
and your choice to word it so enticingly, accessible..
in my humble opinion
this, is a very accomplished poem
showcasing your practised skill..
such a wonderful read)
thanks for sharing, dear poet

A Dead One\'s Nightmare

A poem that truly piques the interest! I enjoyed your tone and that rhyme you kept throughout was also a nice added touch. The message is quite deep as well, all the hardships and fears of life still lingering even after death. Well done!

This is truly quite the spectacle. I adore this metaphor which I feel could be hinting at change. At the same time this brings to the mind Frost\'s poem \"The Road Not Taken,\" with the whole \"what matters is that I took the risk and it paid off\" tone you\'re conveying. Really nice.
