Easy Money
L. B. Mek said:

(and yet, how many que outside foodbanks
every night
how many university students
sleep in their cars
after working three part-time jobs
just to pay for lessons
that can\'t guarantee them career\'s, but
saddle them with debts
before they\'re deemed old enough to drink...)

that none of us want to contemplate...
thanks for sharing, a great read

Christmas On The Road
L. B. Mek said:

this is the Poetry, I live for
how I cherish your sincerity
humility, vulnerability and unflinching bravery
I aspire to scribble something this meaningful
before my journey with Poesy is inked dry..
thanks for sharing
hope and your son, stay safe
(I worked in logistics for a long time
and some of the greatest people I have ever met were long haul drivers
there\'s wisdom on those roads
they can\'t teach on blackboards)
Happy New Year dear Poet

This was a touching piece that goes deeper than the surface. In a sense we are all homeless but we all have a home inside ourselves that we can find when we need it. I felt the layering in this piece and it required more than one reading to really appreciate.
