cherish youth, suck it dry of all its got to offer
like a perfectly blossomed strawberry
embrace your fury, build a furnace
and let your lava, drip
on every blank canvas, you bravely
mould to your will
cherish youth, forget about earning
affirmation or respect
from other people\'s eyes
seek, validation
first and foremost, from those eyes
in the mirror, that know you best
cherish youth, utilise it in each heartbreak
or unrealised dream, let your unshed tears
water your life\'s garden of solace
learn to smile at strife
and cough out your hurt
never, repress it
and maybe, hopefully
you\'ll go-on to live one of those lives
