Interesting method of tying together of several unrelated events through items on a shelf. This poem has become a tapestry

Touching and written with such soft reverence. It rings with humanity and the truth of relationships that are what they are

Mr Wakeling , I really liked everything about this. I didn’t expect the end but the content held my attention such that yiu were kind of thinking for me. How perfect is that cuz what better way to deliver a heartfelt ending.

Oh my. This is such a touching write David. I’ve got a tear in my eye. Life can be so cruel and I know all about cancer. Such a deep sense of loss here and sadness too. Poignant poetry. Touched the core.

At first, I thought you were riding about an old folks home which might be the case. Nonetheless, it sounds even more grim and maybe a morgue or mortuary. Then again this may be a metaphor for how we see ourselves and others nicely written.

The most interesting poem and the point made is that it is better to fight for what one has and to give up and die. Wonderfully stated.
