The Down & Out
sorenbarrett said:
Such a lovely poem full of tenderness, and individual choice amidst a world prejudiced and blind where freedom is more than a word with its consequences and price. What society shuns and abhors a different side of life more kind. The price of freedom more than most are willing to pay but a veteran knows the courage it takes to be free and is willing to make the sacrifice. A fave

The curiosity that exists in man is what drives him on in technology and science. Here in this poem the drive to learn is evident. Nicely written

The Vicar of Blueberry Cross
sorenbarrett said:
A fun read where I would take up a collection for a weekly bottle for the Vicar for more Sunday entertainment. Far better than a sermon this entertainment would certainly raise the attendance at church and with time enough donations to the plate so that the Vicar could buy his own liquor. Loved the read

Fragrance of Beauty

I love the thought of giving beauty an aroma poetically speaking of one sense in terms of another makes good sense. Very nicely written

Does it Rain in Heaven
sorenbarrett said:
I loved this poem for in metaphor it made me think of what would be heaven for some would be hell for another. I love the rain and if it did not rain in heaven I don\'t want to go. Love the lightning and thunder and sound of rain on the roof but then I would get pretty bored just listening to harp music too. A very nicely written poem in good meter and flow

Whats God\'s Address

It\'s tricky sometimes. Are we knocking loud enough (persisting)?
I know His phone number though - it\'s 333. See Jeremiah 33 v.3: \'Call unto me and I will answer you....\'

A lovely piece of poetry. Flows well, nicely rhymed and allows the mind to drift and ponder. Well done.
