Love the imagery DESPINA. And another lovely mention of Sister Moon. One of her many gifts is "Night Illumination". You don't call it a HAIKU - for me it is in the poetic category of MINI POEMS which are equally precious, Yours has 22 syllables (9 6 7) It is a Poem because you have divided it into 3 lines which emphasises the message in each line . L1 Moonlight seeping in - LOVELY L2. Fleeting fog mists (love them off the coast of Savannah - SPOOKY) L3. The illuminating moon - AWESOME. I could drown in this poetic perfection - Thanks for carin' an' sharin' - Your Friend BRIAN

They well deserve every fabric and shade and style to do them justice ! Great poem - great structure - great content - great shape. Thanks for sharing - Yours BRIAN

Lovely.. Wonderful imagery.
However, this is not a haiku.
It's a wonderful poem, but it's definitely not a haiku.
A haiku is traditionally written as seventeen *syllables* in lines of five, seven, and five.
Let this poem of mine serve as an example:
"Angels have four wings"
"With two they hide their faces"
"And with two they fly
~
The first line of this poem contains five syllables, the second seven, and the third five.

Poetry is, first and foremost, a tool for introspection, a means by which we can express our hearts, minds, and souls. Through poetry, we acknowledge the beauty of the world around us. Through the poetic medium, we can share this beauty with others.
Therefore, the one true requirement for a good poem is that the author speaks from his or her heart, truthfully.
Poetry... Is as much about expressing beauty, as it is about making our ideas beautiful.
You have done a wonderful thing; you have taken the very spirit of human interaction, and relayed it through verse. It's witty, charming, wise, and ever so slightly melancholy.
Just the way I like it.
Bravo, Despina Nicole Cambosos.
Bravo.
