A Lesson Or Blessing?
Tristan Robert Lange said:

J.J., this really moved me…especially the way the poem shifts from longing into realization. The repeated “another” builds this unbearable sense of replacement and distance, but the ending is what stayed with me most…the memory of those younger versions of yourselves still believing it would become a blessing. That kind of hindsight hurts in such a human way. Quietly devastating piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

A beautifully written piece of poetry, this is the way to handle a broken relationship, with calmly thought out words that are like a barrage of darts, nicely expressed and written

Powerful and terrible words of defiance. It has been said that hell hath no fury like a woman spurned. The break-up unleashed in you passions that caused you to summon great poetry. Your words are like daggers searching for the culprit.

The pain of separation and the loneliness it brings, at times feels all to much. You feel that as you read a very well written poem.
