A love poem of a love lost and in metaphor possibly with death\'s separation. Nicely written

A very nicely crafted poem in rhyme, flow and meaning. It speaks of pleasing others not oneself and being left to one\'s dreams. A life unfulfilled. A fave and welcome to MPS

A beautiful, romantic poem, with words that go to the heart. A clear progression of the romance, but the final lines point to a separation. Is it a temporary separation ?...

This is a sad story of a life unfulfilled, going from misery to misery, feeling rejected by all. The poetess is left to take refuge in poetry. It has been said “The sea refuses no river.” Similarly, poetry refuses no one that comes to it. In poetry we record our lives, the words that others don’t want to hear. That beach in Greece, that scene of a floating body is a clear indication that the end has happened, in a tragic way. Since the world doesn’t want us, we give it finally our very body...
