An interesting poem that leaves the question how well do we know anyone and even how well do we know ourselves. It is haunting

The goat and I, a fable.

There is something charming and magnetic about the eccentricity in this poem. It holds a jewel of greater importance in its message. In being who one is there is purpose and meaning. All will not understand or even like you but that itself is of little meaning. Meaning takes all forms, different at different times. Lovely and a fave

A very thoughtful write. Vivid imagination is an understatement surreal but behind it all I see Salvador biding his time watching the watch as the hours go by. Very nicely written.

History professors really should be eaten by sharks.
Just in the interests of science, mind you.

A mere tidbit of a fantasy figment. It sounds enticingly inviting with clever writing well done

Society and Mindfulness

All is a matter of perception and what we have grown accustomed to over the years. Shape is one dimension what if the sounds of these items were reversed or their size or longevity. A great write

Every moment follows something. A most interesting write that seems at first experiential then tangential and finally philosophical. Well done

That is the kind of atmosphere that lifts with such little effort the dullness that a day can bring. Most thoroughly enjoyed, V 🕊️🙏

Wonderful it is so homely yet at the same time metaphoric it works and in the mind cooks.

Familiar images that evoke distressing thoughts fill this poem too close to home I would guess. Nicely done

Obscure in metaphor this poem runs on time that is low in the tank. Nicely done

This poem seems surreal in its form and style. It is most interesting in some of the terms (human cannon ball) and it speaks more to the mind. Well worded

For the twist and double change in direction in this poem it gets a fave. It made me smile and if one looks deeper into this dark humor one sees an even deeper message in metaphor of that praying fly. Very well done

Here in this poem drama turns metaphor in a melodrama where the fight is thrown. A fun read

Black Moon Lilith
sorenbarrett said:

This poem capitalizes off dark desires of power, subjugation, control that becomes sensual and sexual. It calls out from the cellar of ones dreams. Very visceral. Well worded creepy is a good word. This poem reaches into the recesses of shadow where repulsion meets seduction and horror greets passion. Tapping deep enough into black primitive roots of rule by force. This one rose from revulsion to a fave

song bird’s cage
Soman Ragavan said:

A caged bird has a very sorry life, indeed. It was born to be free but cruel Man keeps it in a cage for the rest of its life. Its chirpings are not seen for what they really are : songs of heartbroken sadness, a longing to be set free…

Each of these elements, colors, images a symbol well placed and a meaning hidden. They all form a whole of destruction and creation, life and death and its resurrection. Very well crafted brilliantly organized a fave
