Not sure if there\'s an underline theme running through this poem.
Is she living in her own mind avoiding others who wish her harm.

A charming poem of social commentary where one extrapolates the meaning to be that we compare ourselves or others of different abilities to some where this is not applicable. Well done

That reminds me of a relationship many moons ago...
Too well written for me to ignore and forget !

The Last Child

Tragic, sad and dark this poem speaks of an unwanted child that against all odds continues to live on. Such a picture is far too common where children are unplanned and one gender is preferred to another. Very emotional.

A strong poem of words. Your poem focuses on the themes of abandonment, survival, self-worth, and the search for love and acceptance. It portrays the emotional turmoil of the person who grapples with her identity as an \"unwanted child,\" yet ultimately finds hope and affirmation in her existence.
