WELCOME DARRON ~ Thanks for your first poem. Well structured ~ five rhyming quatrains (Verses 1 2 3 4 6) and one pentain (V 5) longer for obvious reasons. The content (as you say) is sad. Each stanza is a beautiful expression of the Joys of Love. Stanza 5 is very tragic but (in my opinion) necessary because it puts the poem into context ~ and justifies the visual ~ OK.
