Tamara Beryl Latham - The Poet said:
Kurt, this is an impressive write.
My interpretation is this poem begins (with a world before time as we know it) in the Garden of Eden.
I suspect the two lovers were Adam and Eve and the lust to deceive defines their eating from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil.
Just my take, but either way I loved it. :-)

Three extraordinary poems! I can see a common thread throughout...a lifeline, so to speak!

āCum Aetateā...the pain diminishes!
ā¢After Midnightācreation redeemed
A new day to cherish!

Kurt, your poems continue to amaze me. I loved both.
There is always food for thought in each line you pen and you leave it up to the reader to interpret them as they choose.
The last line in the second poem expresses the downside of love or the half-empty glass.
Thanks for posting.
