This poem is extremely meaningful for me! I won’t quote from this one because I would have to quote the entire poem! Very, very dear to my heart!
I vividly remember myself when I was 17! He left me because I was too young! He said he’d come back in a few years. I waited and hoped, but it was never meant to be! The older I get, the more vividly I remember...and “in every memory I see your face—your eyes still closed to me”...emotionally rich and very relatable!
