Thanks CORY for another vey poignant poem sharing with us all just how you feel since your loss. Again beautifully written and I like the way you have spaced it. Stanza 1. You describe your emotions and you can't be set free from your darkness. S 2. Chained and taking pills S 3. Alcohol cannot release the pain S 4. Eating you alive,. Thinking of you and praying for 24/7 ~ BRIAN ~ Please check my latest poem.

Loved but not forgotten

WELCOME CORY ~ Thank you for an excellent first Poem. It is a well penned "free verse" with enugh rhythm to complement the subject "Lost Love". As we get older (I;m 33) it is a Subject we face in our Family and Friends Circles. If it is one's wife or partner it is much harder to bear. Your poem suggests a partner taken by death and the only reunion is in "dream world". Gone but not forgotten. You have expressed the sorrow and pain of the loss with both passion and compasion. Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN Please check my poems ~ Thanks B
