Pension Day at the Post Office

Very fun to read. I like the rhythm and rhyme scheme. It\'s kind of funny, familiar, and has that nice message about honesty. I like it. Definitely agree with Tommy. :)

Just describing the cloths simply and saying what each one meant allowed me appreciate how you were imagining this loved one.

Augustus said:

Maybe this isn\'t exactly about what your poem is about but seriously there serious problems with the caretakers of very ill people. Like Altsheimers disease. It is very demanding. Nicely done.

GREAT POEM JENNY ~ Very honest and very graphic. It is always cathartic to unload our negative childhood experiences in a poem. Thanks for sharing and caring. Please check my poems ~ Thanks BRIAN (UK)

I\'d like to go back to a decade ago before the big shift into social media and smart phones, technology that was made to set us free has imprisoned the basic art of conversation, people attend gigs and watch the whole thing through their smart phone, put it away! You\'re actually there! Excellent poem, really enjoyed the flow.
