WELCOME TJENISE ~ Thanks for your first Poem ~ very thought provoking ! We are BODY ~ MIND ~ SPIRT and all three bring us joy& pain ~ THAT\'s LIFE ! You chose (in this poem) to focus on the mind and there is a lot of Truth (and experience) in what you say ! We are (to some extent) for what is in ourr minds ~ what we read and watch (TV) and the folk we hang out with all fills our mind with positive and negative stuff. Also there are lot of ideas and thoughts the enter our minds from the Community and we can\'t avoid these things. We are the GUARDIANS of our minds so we can choose to fill our minds with thigs that are Pure ~ Good ~ Beautiful ~ Peaceful etc or things that are opposite ~ the choice is ours !
