Comments1I've always admired the profound simplicity in Langston Hughes' work, and this piece is no exception. The lines "I would liken you to a night without stars were it not for your eyes" are hauntingly beautiful, filled with a sense of melancholy yet adoration. It's amazing how Hughes' words can evoke such strong emotions. He's truly one of the greatest poets of his time.
